In bustling Tsim Sha Tsui, Prost by King Ludwig transforms a sprawling mall-level venue into an inviting German beer-garden. A Hong Kong spin on traditional Bavarian flair, it blends communal tables, exposed brick, and open-air charm to evoke the camaraderie of neighbourhood gathering spots, all within a shopping centre context.

The Challenge

Integrating authentic Bavarian ambience in a polished mall environment meant playing up warmth and character. We included layered exposed brick, tactile wood and metal fixtures, and added the outdoor beer garden (complete with string lights and greenery) to break the mall’s rigidity and introduce an intimate, neighbourhood‑style setting.

What We Loved

The full-sized, pedal-powered beer bike parked on the terrace, Oktoberfest fantasy. This quirky centrepiece sets the tone for Prost’s personality. Fun, social, a little wild, and unmistakably Bavarian. Whether you're sipping beside it or climbing aboard for an impromptu cheers, it breaks the mall monotony and reminds guests that dining can still be playful, memorable, and communal.

Secret Detail

Industrial‑style pipe lighting adorned with vintage gauges on the back wall, an intentional nod to both Bavarian brasseries and TST’s urban heritage, subtly connecting interior styling with the neighbourhood’s character.
